Regionen einfach ausklammern

Regionen in der Regions.ini einfach ausklammern!

Um den Server bei Veranstaltungen nicht unnötig zu belasten, werden meist nicht benötigte Regionen auch nicht hochgefahren.

So steht der Veranstaltungsregion die volle Power- Rechenleistung zur Verfügung.


Einloggen:

In das Verzeichnis Regions wechseln und Inhalt anzeigen:

opensim@sliplady:~/ftp/install/bin/Regions$ ls

Regions.ini  Regions.ini.example

Mit Nano die aktuelle Regions.ini öffnen:

opensim@sliplady:~/ftp/install/bin/Regions$ nano Regions.ini

So sieht der Inhalt aus:

   

Nachfolgend möchte ich Testland2 ausklammern.

Also, ein Semikolon vor die Region Testland2 setzen:

Diese Änderung mit Strg-o abspeichern und mit Strg+x wieder verlassen.

Das Semikolon verhindert das Einlesen der Region beim Start.
